Brent Casey, General Manager

Brent was appointed General Manager of QCS in May 2016. In his role as General Manager, Brent is responsible for strategy development and implementation as well as oversight of the entire operation including all sugar pricing, trading, and marketing. Previous to his role with QCS, Brent held the positions of General Manager Marketing at Emerald Grain, General Manager Trading and Marketing at Queensland Sugar Limited, and has held various management roles within the BP Group. His extensive leadership and commodity risk management experience, together with his sugar industry knowledge, and trading and marketing expertise, will be important factors in guiding QCS through the next phase of growth for the company as well as guiding QCS through the changes that have occurred and will continue to occur in the Queensland sugar industry. Brent has strong relationships with international sugar groups and extensive knowledge of the Asian and Middle Eastern markets and customers. He is also a Director of Australian Molasses Trading Pty Ltd.

Stephen Stone, Executive Manager – Market Risk
Master of Commerce (Banking, Corporate, Finance, Securities Law), Bachelor of Commerce (Banking, Corporate, finance and Securities Law)
Stephen was appointed as QCS's Executive Manager – Market Risk in November 2016.
In this role, Stephen is responsible for QCS's sugar pricing, pricing and foreign exchange risk management, managing risks associated with trade execution and pricing and risk management reporting.
Prior to joining QCS, Stephen was Corporate Treasurer at Queensland Sugar Limited, and has previously held roles at Credit Agricole CIB, Bank of America, Lehman Brothers, Bank of America, Citi and Bankers Trust.
Stephen is well known and respected within and from outside the industry, with more than 20 years' experience in trading and risk management.
Stephen has a strong track record in disciplined price and risk management in both sugar and foreign currency markets.

Shaun Tupou, Treasury Analyst
studying Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance)
Shaun commenced with QCS in November 2016 in the role of Treasury Analyst. In this role, Shaun supports the management of sugar and currency risk by preparing financial market reports and information on relevant financial risks, liaising with stakeholders and supporting the development of a best-practice price risk management function.
Shaun was previously employed at Queensland Sugar Limited in a similar role.

Deborah Wright, Commodity Services Manager
Deborah was appointed as Commodity Services Manager for QCS in December 2013. Deborah is responsible for servicing the needs of our cane growing customers and servicing the Long Term Banded Pricing Program. In addition, Deborah manages the quality of sugar and molasses deliveries to our various customers. Previous to joining us, Deborah worked in the sugar industry in various roles, most recently as Marketing Officer in the Mackay Sugar Marketing Department. Deborah has a great appreciation of sugarcane farming and sugar production, with formal qualifications in sugar chemistry. Deborah’s family are also third generation sugar cane farmers in the Mackay region.

Pam Clark, Financial Accountant
Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), CPA
Pam started with QCS as the Financial Accountant in May 2015. In her role Pam is responsible for the financial functions of QCS ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financials and cash management. Previous to her role with QCS, Pam held accounting positions with Mining and Mining services companies including Peabody Energy and Crushing Industries Australia. Pam brings to QCS a wealth of financial knowledge and experience and is also on the committee of Special Olympics Mackay Branch.
